NEWS RELEASEOct. 6, 2020 Evergreen Federal Bank pledges $100,000 in Southern Oregon Fire Relief and collects food for local Food Bank Evergreen is saddened by the loss of lives, homes, and businesses due to the recent fires in Southern Oregon. In an effort to help those impacted, Evergreen has pledged $100,000 to local nonprofits that are positioned to help those in need. Funds have already been dispersed to help the Southern Oregon Red Cross, Vet Center, Sanctuary One Animal Rescue, as well as other nonprofits that are working with displaced individuals. In addition, Evergreen will be offering special loan terms to assist victims forced to rebuild or relocate due to their loss. In response to providing food to those in need, Evergreen hosted a Drive-thru, Food Drive. Held at Evergreen’s Bear Hotel, barrels were filled with food donated via drive-up. Evergreen matched each item with a $1.00 donation to a total of $5,000 for local food banks. |
