Evergreen Federal Bank is committed to doing everything possible to secure customer information such that unauthorized parties cannot access it. A number of measures have been taken to secure customer information over the Internet, one of which is the username and password used to authenticate (sign in) to Online Banking. Evergreen Federal Bank owns a digital certificate that encrypts customer information while it is transmitted over the Internet and positively identifies the Bank to its customers. Once a session is established on a secure site, the user and the site are in a secured environment. Data traveling between the user and the site is encrypted.
To help maintain security, you should sign out and close your browser when you have completed your Internet banking session. This will help prevent unauthorized persons from viewing your private account information.
Never share your password with another person. Keep your password secret. For your protection we recommend that you change your online banking password regularly. Do not use numbers that are easily associated with you, such as your telephone number, address or birth date as your password.
If you have any problems accessing Internet Banking, please contact the bank at (541) 479-3351 or (800) 275-6148 from 9AM – 5PM Monday through Friday. You can also email us through our contact form.
Additional security features have been implemented to help protect you from identify theft. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the following features:
For certain high-risk account activities, we may place an automated phone call to you to confirm your identity.
In addition, to help protect your accounts, our systems constantly watch for unusual activity. If we detect something out of the ordinary involving your online account, such as logging on from a different computer or uncharacteristic funds transfer activity, we will verify your identity using a set of security questions and telephone callback numbers before allowing the process to continue.
This feature provides additional protection against hackers, phishers or fraudsters and will be very helpful in the fight against fraud. Here's a brief summary of how the Site-To-User works:
When accessing online banking, you will see a green navigation bar. Depending upon the browser you use, the bar may appear differently.
You will need to choose a password to include at least eight characters with a combination of both numbers and letters.
Email alerts are setup to assist you in monitoring your account activity.
Bill Pay Limit
Each bill payment will be limited to a maximum amount of $20,000 per transaction. For payments over this amount, please contact us for other payment options.
