Evergreen's Bear Hotel

Evergreen's Bear Hotel is a one-of-a-kind artwork museum that showcases Evergreen's community projects. In addition, it serves as a community asset providing meeting facilities for local nonprofits.

The Bear Hotel received its name during the production of Evergreen's most popular art project called "BearFest." Through BearFest 182 fiberglass bears created by 85 artists have been displayed in downtown Grants Pass. Nearly half of the bears created have been auctioned to raise over $250,000 for local nonprofits. When not on the streets during the summer season, the bears hibernate at the Bear Hotel as part of Evergreen's permanent art collection.

Throughout the year Evergreen hosts Customer Appreciation Events that transform the Bear Hotel into magical wonderlands. Customers are invited to bring their family and friends – at no charge. Evergreen's most recent project called "The Southern Oregon Adventure" lets visitors experience the beauty of Southern Oregon without ever leaving the Bear Hotel.

Evergreen's Bear Hotel is located at 2101 Spalding Avenue, Grants Pass, OR 97526

Evergreen's most recent event called the Southern Oregon Adventure invites visitors to experience the beauty of Southern Oregon without ever leaving the Bear Hotel. The journey begins at a vista overlooking Crater Lake. Pathways lead visitors through majestic redwoods and canyons with waterfalls and wildlife critters created by local artists. A covered bridge opens yet another door to vineyards with rolling hills that make their way to the Oregon coast.

An Old Fashioned Celebration of America

In 2007, Evergreen celebrated the Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with the display of 23 Shield monuments depicting 23 decades of American history.
These shields can be seen inside Evergreen's Shield Room.

Magical Christmas Murals

Each Christmas season Evergreen hosts the Magical Christmas Murals. In partnership with the City of Grants Pass, 20 fiberoptic Christmas murals are placed in the downtown district. The murals, created by local artisans, are designed to bring Christmas cheer during the day and holiday sparkle at night.
